| It did change from the gold fabric-ish one, to the metal one (about the second season when he became security chief). Why, I don't know but the whole family crest thing(s) really developed then (i don't know if the sash change caused it, or if the Klingon-Plot developments caused the switch) [or maybe it's because too many people noticed it's the same one worn by Kang in TOS: The Day of the Dove]
